I love anything Rick Bayless cooks. His restaurants are some of my favorites in the Chicago area; Topolobambo, Frontera Grill, Xoco, and Frontera Fresco. When I have a craving for gourmet Mexican food, I love trying new recipes located on Bayless’ Frontera Fiesta website. Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking

As you all know, I love to cook. But what I love even more than cooking, is cooking (and eating) French food. Therefore, yesterday was my 22nd Birthday and my best friend, Kaitlin, gave me Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking, Cook book. My top 5 favorite places to eat a Chicago hotdog

One of my favorite on-the-go meals is a Chicago style hot dog. Traditionally, a Chicago dog is a steamed, boiled or grilled, all-beef Vienna hot dog on a poppy seed bun. The hot dog is topped with mustard, onion, sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices, pickled sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt. Hopleaf Menu Suggestions

Last night my boyfriend took me on a date to Hopleaf Bar, located in Andersonville at 5148 N. Clark St. in Chicago. I had been there twice before to drink from their extensive beer list,  but was looking forward to trying the food. This past weekend’s beautiful Chicago weather got me thinking about my favorite season–fall! There are so many things I love about fall; from chunky sweaters to falling leaves and of course the food!
